These ones have now left me for one reason or another. I try not to regret anything!

1965 Hagstrom III
A sweet vintage Hagstrom with a neck that was so thin it hurt my hand within minutes!

2017 Gibson Les Paul R9
A beauty of a Gibson custom shop that I sold to a nice chap on Gumtree, I went into a frenzy at the time and bought two. So I sold the nicest looking one.

2016 Suhr Alt T Pro
A guitar of impeccable build quality with absolutely no soul whatsoever. Sold!

2015 Fender Japan '62 Telecaster
I traded this one away as it sounded tinny and nasty.

2013 Fano Alto facto JM6
Maybe I should have kept this but the pickups were so overwound it sounded dead.

2011 Gibson Robbie Krieger SG
Lost so much money on this, it still hurts. I don't want to talk about it.

2008 Squier Hello Kitty
A guitar I bought to sell. My only flip! I made £80!
I should have kept it though.
I should have kept it though.

1999 Danelectro U2
Nice guitar I bought at Gordon Simpson's in Edinburgh in the early 1990's. I don't miss it.

1999 Danelectro DC3
Bought at Monkey Business in Edinburgh and sold to a guy from Paris. It was nice!

1996 Gibson Les Paul Special
Stupid me. I bought this in a really smelly case then bought a genuine Gibson case for it and then traded it for a loss and included the case. Sigh.

1966 Baldwin Double Six
Bought for £250 left to me by my Granny in her will. I owned it for decades but never played it. I made money on it but only just and I had to use an inflation calculator to work out if I had.

Tanglewood TW 145ASC
Oh dear. Dead and muffled. Nasty.

2017 Taylor Academy 12E
I won this in a competition at GuitarGuitar so it was all profit and acoustic guitars are not my thing really. It was good sounding though.

2018 Ibanez AZ242BC
Well. A good idea. Buy something modern. It was a fine instrument with loads of sounds and a tremolo which worked well. Not for me though.

2017 Gibson les Paul R8
A really great guitar fitted with Monty's PAFs I used for video demos. Sold to my regret to fund the Nik Huber.

2017 Fidelity Guitars Double Standard
Quirky but amazing sounding guitar from a UK boutique maker. Another one I may regret selling.

Victory V40 Deluxe
A boxy sounding amplifier with less than sparkling top end. It didn't last long.

Blackstar HT-1R
A dreadful boxy sounding amplifier with a crappy 12" cabinet that had zero bass response. It started cutting out and was traded. Promised much. Delivered nothing.

King Tone Duellist
A pedal that was great but I could never get it to sound like what I wanted. Too coloured for me in the midrange though. It would be great live though!

Fulltone Fulldrive 1
A Tubescreamer type pedal but with less mid hump and more bass. It was good but less good emulating an amp.

Fulltone OCD
If you want a Plexi style distortion pedal for live gigs, look no further! I don't though.

Mad professor Little Tweedy Drive
It certainly had the growl of a Tweed amp but I have a Lazy J 20 and all the tweed I need. It didn't sound so good through a Fender Twin Reverb.

Fender Rumble 40 V3
A great wee amp and one of my most satisfying purchases ever. Totally without issues. I sold it to a friend at work who is taking up bass again!

Fender FB-300 Banjo
An impulse buy based on my assumption that I could pick it up quickly. No chance. It's impossible to play without hours and hours of practice. Plus it sounds like a hammer hitting the side of a tractor at 50 mph.

2020 PRS McCarty 10 Top Yellow Tiger
Traded to fund a new purchase; such a pretty guitar but I have my 1999 McCarty and that one is hard to beat so sadly, this had to go.
